Doctoral Research

My dissertation focuses on the following aspects: a) assessing land rent of yellow pine species grown in coastal Georgia relative to blueberry in the presence and absence of market risks; b) understanding the perceptions of landowners to know their decision-making framework while selecting blueberry over yellow pine species; c) understanding the historical land use change in a watershed and project the same for the future; and d) determining the impact of land use changes on the ecosystem services in the selected watershed.
